"Northwest Empire did an amazing job renovating our basement after we had burst pipes damage the walls and ceiling. The owner, Eric, has assembled a highly skilled crew - the quality of the carpentry, sheetrock hanging, window installation, floor waxing, and painting were exemplary. We were out of town for the renovation and Eric communicated questions about materials and budgeting, as well as progress updates on a timely basis to keep us informed. For our staircase, Eric designed and fabricated a custom railing based on inspiration photos. He matched the stain and staircase carpentry with windows that he installed and tied new woodwork together with existing wood finished in the basement to create a seamless finish. Eric was incredibly responsive as we made adjustments to our renovation plan during the job. Eric's crew had to install a number of drop down segments in our ceiling for various pipes - the workmanship is beautiful and the ceiling has never looked better. We're already planning on hiring Northwest Empire again for our next two jobs which will be floor refinishing in other rooms and fence repairs outside.
